Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am an empowerment specialist (Therapist) who assists clients in finding their own answers. I understand that most issues that people seek help for, at its core, is devalue. When we are devalued we become very angry and hurt. Therapy is primarily an educational experience in which the client is given new information. The client is able to see how influences from early experiences shape us into the person we have become. Some of those influences are helpful but others are not. In the therapy process we must identify the “schemas” or tendencies that we learned from the elders in our families that have not served us well. Therapy is a journey not a destination. Therapy places a person on a journey of self discovery, open mindedness, and self love. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor for over 20 years. I hold a masters degree in Clinical Psychology, now known as Forensic Psychology. I seek to empower my clients and give them their “microphone”, their voice back. I seek to assist clients to claim or reclaim their identity and give them permission to claim the original Identity given to them by the creator. A quality life requires tough decisions and courage. Asking for help takes courage. Open up and begin your journey…..the world is waiting on you!

Ralph DeMar is an empowerment specialist and therapist who helps clients find their own answers and regain their sense of agency. He recognizes that many of the concerns people bring to therapy originate in feelings of being devalued, which often produce anger and emotional pain. Ralph frames therapy as a learning process that equips people with new perspectives and information.
In his approach, Ralph helps clients trace how early influences shaped who they became, noting that some learned patterns are helpful while others are not. The work involves identifying the schemas or tendencies passed down from family elders that no longer serve the individual and creating new ways of relating to oneself and others. He views therapy as an ongoing journey – a path of self-discovery, open-mindedness, and increasing self-compassion.
Ralph has been a licensed professional counselor in Texas for more than 20 years and holds a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, a program now often referred to as Forensic Psychology. He aims to empower clients by restoring their “microphone” – their voice – and supporting them as they claim or reclaim their identity, including the original identity they believe was given by the creator. Ralph emphasizes that building a quality life requires difficult choices and personal courage, and he invites people to take the brave step of asking for help and beginning their journey.
Many people wonder whether remote counseling can genuinely help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can choose the mode of connection that fits their routine and comfort level, whether that is video meetings, phone calls, live chat, or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it easier to keep therapy consistent amid daily responsibilities.
Therapists who offer online services are licensed professionals, and if a different fit is desired it is possible to switch to another therapist. For many people, the convenience and accessibility of online therapy make it a practical and effective option for addressing everyday mental health and relational concerns.
