Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Nebraska and I have 6 years of experience. I understand that reaching out for support and asking for help can be intimidating, but I am here to listen without judgement so that we can work together to develop a plan to address your concerns and discover solutions. I enjoy helping people make changes in their lives and seeing them become successful.
I approach each individual with respect and openness. I like to use a strengths based perspective in my work to help people dig a little deeper from within so they can find characteristics or skills they might not even know about themselves. I enjoy listening to the story the the individual is willing to share, that way I can meet them where they are at.
The longest experience I have had for Social Worker Clinical work is within with Correctional setting. I assisted incarcerated individuals who were ready to be released into the community create discharge plans so that they would be prepared to do well and be successful once released. While I worked in Corrections I was also able to gain valuable therapeutic skills by assisting clients with Anger Management, Coping with life changes, Domestic Violence concerns, some Sex offender discharge planning issues and treatment, Women’s issues, Anxiety, Trauma, and Isolation.
I can interact with you for sessions via video, phone or messaging. Keep in mind that working through video conferencing would be very helpful to get to know each other. My availability would consist of evenings on the weekends for right now, but I plan to check my messages at least once a day.
I have been trained in motivational interviewing, trauma informed care, and Dialectical Behavioral Treatment. I know how important it is to find the right therapist to meet your needs. I wish you the very best in your search for not only the right therapist for you but also the first step towards change in your life. I look forward to working with you!
