Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello and welcome
My name is Novena-Chanel (No-ve-na-Cha-nel), and I am a registered integrative Counsellor, Counselling Supervisor, Counselling Lecturer, Life Coach, Reiki Master, and Yoga Teacher. I also work as a Media Consultant, Writer and Public Speaker, advising on issues around Childhood Sexual Abuse, Domestic Violence, Race and Identity, Epigenetics and Family trauma, and Mental Health and Self-Care.
I am trained and experienced within the Person-centred, Psychodynamic, Intercultural, CBT, Attachment theory and TA approaches, as well as having experience within others. This allows me to work from a holistic and relational approach; working with my clients to identify, work through, and heal difficult patterns within their lives’ and relationships. I support you in beginning the process of challenging negative thought patterns and circumstances; often breaking unhealthy generational cycles.
My aim is to empower you to realise and work towards your full potential; while building practical and realistic foundations to maintain your desired therapeutic goals, long after our work together ends. This involves tailored therapy plans, reviews, and working alongside you to see what Counselling approach best suits your personality and concern.

Many people ask whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions for most people.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can choose the connection method that suits them best, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. This adaptability often makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
Licensed professionals provide online care, and clients can switch therapists at any time if they prefer a different fit. For many, online therapy offers an effective, convenient way to access support and continue personal work without the constraints of in-person appointments.
