Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am licensed in Texas with 15 years of professional work experience. Most of my experience has been in working with the family of the addict/alcoholic, helping them to successfully intervene in their loved ones addiction/dependency. I have also worked with many addicts/alcoholics/sex/porn etc., helping them to recognize their addictive behaviors and find a way out of this crippling disease/problem behavior. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process. Dealing with an addiction-either yours or someone else’s, may seem impossibly difficult. However, there truly is a path that leads to a sober and fulfilling life for the afflicted individual AND for his family. I want the family to get well. Even if the addict doesn’t. His best chance in the long run is when the family learns how to deal with this illness in a way that is healthy for them. Recovery is for everyone!

David Marlin Baldwin is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas (TX LPC 66353) with 10 years of experience working in the field of addiction. He specializes in supporting families affected by a loved one’s dependency and guiding interventions aimed at helping that person toward change.
Much of his practice has focused on working with family members of addicts and alcoholics, providing practical strategies and emotional support to carry out effective interventions. He places emphasis on the wellbeing of the family system and on helping family members recover, understanding that family health often improves long-term outcomes for the person with the addiction. Recovery is for everyone, and he works to help both individuals and their families move toward healing.
Many people ask whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, or major life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person care for most people.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can connect with a therapist in the way that fits their life best, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This makes it easier to attend sessions without rearranging work, family, or travel plans.
All participating clinicians are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change therapists if they feel a different fit would be better. Online therapy can be a practical, accessible option for many people seeking support with everyday mental health concerns.
