Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am licensed in Louisiana with 4 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress, anxiety, childhood trauma, substance abuse, anger management, & depression. I am a Army veteran with 13 years of service, so I also can help with veterans with mental health issues. I also have experience working with coping with life changes. I see counseling as a process in which you the client, and I, have come to understand and trust one another, work as a team to explore and define present problem situations, develop future goals for an improved life and work in a systematic fashion toward realizing those goals.I approach counseling from a psychoanalytic foundation in that traumas of the past should be revisited if not resolved in the present. I also utilize an existential approach where the client is encouraged to become more self-aware and realize their true potential.

Khadijah Cooper is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Louisiana (LA LPC 9739) with four years of professional experience. She is an Army veteran with 13 years of service and brings that background to her work with veterans and others facing mental health challenges.
She provides therapy for stress, anxiety, childhood trauma and abuse, substance abuse, anger, depression, and coping with life changes. As a therapist of color and a female clinician, she offers a perspective shaped by her identity and experience.
Khadijah views counseling as a collaborative process in which the client and therapist build understanding and trust, identify present difficulties, set goals for a healthier future, and work methodically toward those goals. Her approach is grounded in a psychoanalytic foundation that revisits unresolved past traumas, alongside an existential orientation that encourages greater self-awareness and the pursuit of one’s potential.
For many common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and navigating life changes – online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person care. Research and clinical experience indicate that these types of issues often respond well to virtual sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility. People can meet with a therapist in the format that suits them best: video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. That variety makes it simpler to fit counseling into busy schedules and to choose the communication style that feels most comfortable.
All participating clinicians are licensed professionals, and it is possible to change therapists if a different match is preferred. Online therapy offers a convenient option for accessing licensed therapists while maintaining the structure and goals of traditional counseling.
