Emma Spick

Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships

About

I am a qualified counsellor, working with people from all walks of life on the many different aspects of being human. I am registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, having obtained a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling in 2022.

My approach is largely person-centred, although I will bring in other modalities where appropriate. In person-centred work, we believe that you are the expert on yourself and will be able to find your own solutions when you have the space and support to work things through.
Life can feel like a roller-coaster and it can be hard to find your own voice in the rush of daily living. Talking things through with someone and allowing your own voice to be heard can be helpful in finding your feet again.
My aim is to provide a warm, welcoming, supportive and non-judgmental space for anyone looking to take the first steps to finding fulfilment and connection within themselves and with others. I have experience in supporting with many issues including stress, trauma, depression, relationship issues, low confidence and self-esteem, anxiety, loss and bereavement.
We all differ in that our life journeys are unique but we are also all the same in that we are all human and finding a connection with our own voices can ease some of the anxiety and tension brought about by daily life.
I look forward to working with you.

Is Online Therapy the Right Fit for Your Needs?

Many people ask whether meeting with a therapist online can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.

One major benefit is flexibility – you can connect in the way that suits you best, whether that is via video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. This makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule or to access support from a convenient location.

Therapists offering online sessions are licensed professionals, and it is possible to change to a different clinician if you decide another fit would better meet your needs.
