Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am licensed in Idaho with 4 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress, anxiety, coping with grief, coping with loss, motivation, self esteem, confidence, & coping with life changes. I also have experience working with compassion fatigue. I work with my clients to create an open and supportive environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. My skills and techniques for talk therapy, adapted through years of school counseling and my own practice, have formed to showcase compassion, humor and the desire to help others in self-discovery. It is a modern therapy approach that highlights the three aspects of our being: mind, body and soul. Understanding these, the relationships within our body and outside of our body are crucial to re-discovering our true, authentic self. It isn’t easy work, but the commitment from both the client and myself, to approach hard times with an openness and willingness is fundamental. Talk therapy and goal-setting, with intention to understand our gut-feeling, but most importantly, trust it, is my approach at helping navigate life’s tricky situations. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am eager to start this journey with you!

Mali Sawyer is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Idaho (ID LPC LPC-9988) with four years of clinical experience. She works with people facing stress, anxiety, grief and loss, low motivation, self-esteem and confidence concerns, life transitions, and compassion fatigue. As a female, non-religious therapist, she strives to create an open, nonjudgmental space where feelings and thoughts can be shared freely.
Drawing on training in school counseling and her private practice, Mali uses evidence-informed talk therapy and intentional goal-setting to guide self-exploration. Her approach combines compassion and occasional humor with attention to the whole person – mind, body and soul – helping clients understand internal and external relationships as part of reconnecting with their authentic selves.
Mali emphasizes a collaborative commitment: meaningful progress depends on both the client and therapist approaching difficult moments with openness and willingness. She encourages clients to notice and trust their gut feelings as part of navigating life’s challenges, and she welcomes those who take the courageous first step toward a more fulfilling life.
Many people wonder whether online therapy delivers meaningful results. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and the challenges of life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person care for most people.
A major benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that suits them best, whether through video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule and maintain continuity of care.
Each therapist involved is a licensed professional, and clients are free to switch therapists at any time if they are seeking a different fit. For many, online therapy provides a practical, effective path to addressing everyday mental health needs and navigating life’s transitions.
