Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello and welcome! My name is Cynthia and I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker through the State of Michigan for the last 20 years. My practice however, has been within the State of Florida throughout my 20 years as an LCSW. I have worked with an array of clients specific to unique populations and within rural/urban areas, hospitals, outpatient clinics and homeless outreach services. Unique experiences that I have gained working with specific populations include Veterans, caregivers, elder/geriatric/hospice care, and LGBTQ populations. I currently work in rural areas of the Florida Keys, providing mental health services and in treating mood disorders, addictions and many other complex issues. I am a certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist in treating substance use disorders and addictions and have been trained in other therapeutic modalities to include motivational interviewing and seeking safety. Some of presenting cases and diagnosis that I am most familiar with working and treating include mood disorders (depression, anxiety and bipolar disorders), post traumatic stress disorders, military sexual trauma and traumatic brain injury.
I also have extensive knowledge and experience with guardianship processes, advance directives and durable power of attorney questions and concerns.
My counseling style is warm, interactive and inclusive. I provide a lot of encouragement and motivation to participate and engage in therapeutic sessions as this allows the process to establish a trusting therapeutic rapport and level of communication necessary to understand, treat and provide the mental health support you are seeking and deserve. As our therapy process evolves, I will collaboratively work with you to create a treatment plan that best meets your unique and specific needs.
As your potential Therapist, I applaud your courage and tenacity to seek a fulfilling and happier life by recognizing and taking the first steps towards positive change. As you further journey towards the steps of making change, I am here to be of support and empower you along the way.
I look forward to working with you!

Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life transitions, research and experience indicate that remote therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One of the main advantages is convenience. Clients can connect with therapists through video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging, making it easier to fit care into busy schedules and daily life.
Licensed professionals provide online therapy, and clients may switch therapists at any time if they are seeking a different fit. This flexibility and accessibility make online therapy a practical option for many people looking to address everyday mental health challenges.
