Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I earned a Masters of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University in 2015. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) #LPC 6526 and hold a license with the Louisiana LPC Board of Examiners located at 8631 Summa Avenue, Baton Rouge, La. 70809 (225-765-2515). In addition to being licensed as an LPC in Louisiana, I hold a national certification as a National Certified Counselor (NCC#630673).
I believe that counseling encompasses a collaborative approach between the counselor and the client, and requires both working together to facilitate change in the client’s thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Counseling will require you to fully engage with me in the process, including inside and outside of the sessions. You may be asked to complete homework assignments, and this will partly determine whether we are accomplishing the stated counseling goals.
I assist clients with addressing a variety of mental health concerns that significantly interferes with their ability to perform the primary aspects of daily living. I work with clients who experience family discord. I also assist clients who may be experiencing a crisis.

Dr. Keith Wilkerson earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University in 2015. He is licensed to practice in Louisiana as a professional counselor, holding LPC number 6526 with the Louisiana LPC Board of Examiners in Baton Rouge (8631 Summa Avenue, Baton Rouge, LA 70809; 225-765-2515). He also holds national certification as a National Certified Counselor (NCC #630673).
Dr. Wilkerson approaches counseling as a collaborative process in which counselor and client work together to create change in thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. He asks clients to engage actively in therapy, including completing any assigned work between sessions, because progress often depends on effort both inside and outside the therapy hour.
He assists people whose mental health concerns significantly interfere with daily living, and he works with clients coping with family discord or navigating a crisis. His practice addresses a broad range of issues, including stress, anxiety, anger management, bipolar disorder, depression, trauma and abuse, grief, parenting issues, self-esteem, coping with life changes, compassion fatigue, and ADHD.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, research shows that remote therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person care for most people who seek help.
One major benefit of online therapy is its flexibility. Individuals can connect with a therapist in the format that suits them best – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – making it easier to fit care into a busy schedule.
Care is delivered by licensed professionals, and if a different therapeutic fit is desired, it is possible to switch therapists. This approach makes consistent, accessible support more achievable for people balancing work, family, and other responsibilities.
