Hi there, I commend you on taking the first step toward achieving your optimal wellness goals!
My name is Jillian, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, licensed in the state of North Carolina. I am a Master’s Level Social Worker with an emphasis on adult mental health. I have worked in many different settings, such as inpatient and outpatient capacities seeing Client’s individually and group settings. I have experience with working with Clients with a wide range of concerns such as depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, self-esteem issues as well as working with those who have mild to persistent mental illnesses. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic approach, Motivational Interviewing, as well as Person-Centered therapy. I have also gained a great compassion for my work by working in the field of Suicide Prevention.
It’s important to remember that finding a therapist is similar to finding the right car. In order to receive the greatest benefit from therapy, there must be a mutual fit for the Client and the Clinician. Many of my clients enjoy my authentic approach, and often feel comfortable with my honest and direct therapy style. You can expect us to spend time building rapport from the very beginning to ensure comfort and genuine connection.
As the Client, you have the option to identify how we will meet, whether through text message, phone and video therapy options. This is something we can further explore.
Let’s partner together to help you further your wellness goals. I look forward to working with you!
