Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a Psychotherapist with an additional training as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW). Blend of these two disciplines equip me to understand you in a context.
I have 8 years of post-graduate counselling and case management experience in complex community mental health settings.
In my current role as a senior mental health practitioner within a non-profit organisation, I work with clients experiencing mild to severe mental health presentations, including distress, depression, anxiety, coping with grief and loss, anger management, complex trauma, bipolar and those with schizophrenia.
I pursue person-centred, strength-based, humanistic and recovery-focussed approaches to healing from psychological and emotional distress.
I am of the firm belief that our strengths and talents can support us though challenging growth periods, but that we are often not consciously aware of what they are and how we might access them. As a result, I enjoy facilitating growth, enhancing strengths and increasing motivation using a range of therapeutic techniques.
There is no all-encompassing approach to psychological work. I use a blend of various evidence-based treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) , Existential , etc,.
In addition to aforementioned psychological methods, I draw from philosophical, cultural, mythological and social traditions to aid science. I read widely and update myself constantly to be able to help clients cope and thrive.
I make sure that my clients feel safe and comfortable sharing their inner fears and feelings. I strongly believe in the power of individuals to achieve a balanced, meaningful and fulfilling life. I also believe that my role is to hold a space and hope until you re-discover your own for healing.
The reward of my work is a joy when you walk away with skills, knowledge and insights and with confidence towards your future.
Over the years of clinical work, I am inspired by many stories of recovery, courage, motivation and hope that you have demonstrated.
I can also speak two other languages Nepali and Hindi.

Bhuwaneshor “Bhu” Sharma is a psychotherapist and an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW) with eight years of post-graduate counselling and case management experience in complex community mental health settings.
In his current role as a senior mental health practitioner within a non-profit organisation, he works with people experiencing mild to severe mental health presentations, including distress, depression, anxiety, coping with grief and loss, anger management, complex trauma, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.
He follows person-centred, strength-based, humanistic and recovery-focused approaches to support healing from psychological and emotional distress. He believes that people often possess strengths and talents that can guide them through difficult growth periods, and he enjoys helping clients identify and access those capacities to foster growth, build motivation and increase resilience.
Rather than relying on a single method, he integrates a blend of evidence-based therapies – including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and existential approaches – alongside philosophical, cultural, mythological and social traditions to complement psychological science. He reads widely and updates his knowledge regularly to better support clients.
He prioritises creating a welcoming space where clients can feel comfortable sharing inner fears and feelings, and he holds a hopeful, steady presence while clients work toward rediscovering their own paths to healing. The most rewarding part of his work is seeing clients leave with new skills, knowledge, insights and greater confidence about their future. Over the years he has been inspired by many stories of recovery, courage, motivation and hope that clients have demonstrated.

For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or adapting to life changes, online therapy has been found to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions for most people. This makes it a practical option for many who are seeking support for everyday mental health challenges.
One notable benefit is flexibility – clients can choose the mode of connection that suits them best, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. This flexibility often makes it simpler to fit therapy into a busy life.
Therapists offering online services are licensed professionals, and if a client feels they need a different fit they can switch therapists at any time. Online therapy offers an accessible way to receive evidence-based support while adapting to individual needs and schedules.
