I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with over 6 years of experience providing individual therapy to clients. I have experience in helping clients manage stress and anxiety, utilize adaptive coping methods for substance use/abuse, overcome symptoms of trauma and reduce trauma stress reactions, improve relationships, manage depressive symptoms, increase motivation, self esteem, and confidence. I’m pretty laid back, very easy to talk to and establish rapport quickly with my clients. I have experience providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Narrative Therapy. I also like to incorporate art and creative techniques in therapy, as appropriate. I have experience working with teens, adults, active duty military members, first responders and veterans.
