Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
About Me
Hi, I’m James “Jimmy” Osborne, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with support, compassion, and evidence-based care. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, or life transitions, my goal is to provide a safe and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and empowered.
My Experience & Background
With years of experience in mental health counseling, I have worked extensively with individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including substance use, trauma, and process addictions. I have served in leadership and clinical roles within the Department of Veterans Affairs, specializing in helping veterans manage mental health conditions. Additionally, I have experience teaching psychology at the university level, which deepened my understanding of human development and behavior. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Idaho and Texas.
My Approach to Therapy
I believe that therapy should be collaborative, personalized, and grounded in evidence-based techniques. My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), among other modalities, to help clients develop coping strategies, gain insight, and make meaningful changes. My focus is on helping you build resilience, improve emotional well-being, and achieve personal growth in a way that feels authentic and attainable for you.
How I Can Help
No matter what you’re facing, you don’t have to go through it alone. Together, we can work through your challenges, uncover strengths, and develop strategies that help you lead a more fulfilling life. My aim is to support you in finding clarity, balance, and healing in a way that aligns with your unique needs and goals.
If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d be honored to support you on your journey.

For many common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions. It offers a practical option for people seeking support without changing the quality of care they receive.
One key advantage is flexibility – clients can connect in the format that works best for them, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This range of options makes it easier to fit therapy into busy schedules and to access help from different locations.
All therapists offering online services are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to switch therapists if they decide a different fit would be more helpful. For many individuals, online therapy provides an accessible, effective way to address everyday mental health needs and progress toward personal goals.
