Mandy Greaves is a UK-licensed integrative therapist with five years of professional experience, and she holds a BA (Hons) degree (a bachelor’s degree with honours). She works at a pace tailored to each client’s needs and draws on a range of therapeutic ideas and interventions so that the approach fits the individual rather than expecting the person to fit a single model.
Mandy offers an empathic, non-judgemental space where people can explore distressing thoughts and emotions, whether those are persistent negative thoughts, overthinking about past events or worries about the days ahead. She recognises how exhausting anxious thinking can feel and how painful feelings may limit someone from reaching their potential.
In sessions she aims to unpack the sources of discomfort and to help clients develop practical skills that promote a sense of lightness and personal empowerment. Her integrative training enables her to combine techniques from different counselling models, adapting interventions to suit each person.
She is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), follows their ethics and code of practice, and receives regular clinical supervision. Her experience includes supporting people with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, grief and loss, motivation, self-esteem and confidence. Mandy treats everyone with respect, sensitivity and compassion, tailoring dialogue and a treatment plan to meet each person’s unique needs. Taking the first step to begin therapy can require courage, and she acknowledges and supports that decision.
