I wake up every day excited and passionate to work with people in psychotherapy. When I think about helping people, I believe that establishing a good therapeutic relationship and giving clients a voice is what helps them the most. I also believe that good listening is the main component of establishing a therapeutic relationship with clients. Although I consider myself as eclectic, I incorporate various therapy techniques into my practice such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Mindfulness-based approaches to help my clients. With that said, I am open to client feedbacks and what works best for them. I strive with every client to build a trusting therapeutic relationship where they feel they have a voice and where we collaboratively create a safe space to discuss life challenges and stressors.
I have been working as a Licensed Professor Counselor (LPC) for approximately 10 years specializing in grief/loss, anxiety, depression, family/relationship issues, anger management and abuse. I have worked in numerous populations and settings over my career which include private practices, non-profit organizations, agencies, and public schools. Primarily, I work with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, grief/loss, domestic abuses, and anger issues. I am also a Certified Anger Therapist (CART) who is well equipped and experienced to help individuals cope and manage anger problems in a healthier way. My goal is to create an empathetic, brave space to explore emotions, and life experiences and take steps towards living your best authentic life that aligns with your values.
I look forward to working with you. Let’s begin the journey!

Many people ask whether virtual therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and navigating life changes, online therapy has been found to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions for most individuals.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the format that fits their needs, whether by video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to incorporate therapy into a busy life.
All therapists are licensed professionals, and if a different fit is desired, clients have the option to switch providers at any time.
