Starting therapy can be a daunting experience and so my aim is to help you feel at ease by working with you in order to help you overcome the obstacles that are stopping you from leading a meaningful and authentic life.
Counselling provides a place to talk freely and to reflect on what is holding you back, bring about the change you want and enable you to move forward in a different way. My approach is supportive, non-judgmental and honest and provides you with a safe space where you can process and work out what you want and what you need in order to achieve your therapy goals.
I am a qualified and experienced integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor which means that I can combine different therapeutic approaches and tailor therapy to suit your unique and individual requirements.
In addition to my private practice, I work with Anxiety UK as an approved therapist and a volunteer therapist with the mental health charity Mind.
I have always worked with people – before becoming a therapist, I worked in the public and not for profit sectors for many years, as a human resources director, where my focus was creating a culture that was inclusive, caring and supportive, and fair.
