Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi There! I am a dual licensed professional counselor in both Florida and California State. My last twenty years of direct support positions working with a myriad of populations and ages has included counseling adolescents in high schools and foster care agencies, newly homeless, pregnant women in a non-profit agency (suffering from depression due to domestic violence), chronically mentally ill patients in hospital care, elderly clientele in an adult care facility, adults facing trauma and grief, and all ages on a crisis and text line. Through all these experiences I have been extremely humbled by so many people allowing me to enter their worlds.
As a therapist, I utilize a person-centered approach using warmth, compassion, and and humor to understand each person I meet. I am especially attuned to those suffering loss or trauma, as I personally have lost two family members to depression. These losses have given me a special gift to help heal those around me and compel me to soften the anxiety, depression, or confusion of those who need it. I especially try to help people become more resilient in their lives since I have had to personally be this way and not to succumb to the hardships I have had to face. Rather than letting these hardships define me, I have wanted to connect with others and provide support for others facing life struggles. On a personal level, I am especially connected to nature and animals and have been an avid animal rescuer my entire life.
I look forward to hearing YOUR story.

Dina Vineberg is a dual-licensed counselor practicing in California who brings a blend of clinical experience and long-term direct support work to her practice. She has six years of formal therapy experience along with two decades working in direct support roles across diverse settings, including high schools, foster care agencies, non-profit programs for pregnant women, hospital care for those with chronic mental illness, adult care facilities, and crisis and text lines serving all ages.
Her clinical approach is person-centered, guided by warmth, compassion, and a sense of humor to build understanding and trust. She is particularly attuned to people coping with loss or trauma, a perspective shaped in part by the deaths of two family members to depression. Those personal losses inform her commitment to easing anxiety, depression, and confusion and to helping others develop greater resilience rather than be defined by hardship.
Dina holds professional licenses to practice counseling in both Florida and California, certified respectively as a licensed mental health counselor in Florida and a licensed professional clinical counselor in California. She works with a range of concerns including stress, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma and abuse, grief, depression, family conflicts, intimacy-related issues, self-esteem challenges, career difficulties, bipolar disorder, and coping with life changes, and she also offers coaching support.
Outside of her clinical work, she has a deep connection to nature and animals and has been an avid animal rescuer throughout her life. Dina values the trust people extend when inviting her into their lives and she remains committed to supporting others through change and healing. She looks forward to hearing clients’ stories.
Many people wonder whether remote counseling can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be an effective option comparable to in-person care.
One major benefit is flexibility – you can meet with a therapist in the way that works best for your schedule and comfort level, whether by video call, phone, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility often makes it easier to maintain consistent support.
All therapists offering online services are licensed professionals, and if you decide you would like a different fit, you can switch therapists at any time. For many people dealing with everyday mental health concerns and life adjustments, online therapy provides a practical and impactful path to support.
