Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I have been providing therapy in rural Montana for 30 years. I was Director of Services for a Mental Health Center for 5 years before going into private practice in 1995. Practicing in a rural area is a lot like being a country “doc”, you treat “everything that walks in the door”. This has given me a wide range of experience with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, relationship problems, self-esteem issues, childhood abuse, domestic violence, behavior problems, and life transitions. I have a wholistic, eclectic approach fitting the therapy to the client rather than fitting the client to the therapy.
In addition to a private practice, I also teach college Psychology and Sociology. I love these subjects and love teaching. I bring my knowledge and experience to the therapeutic relationship.
I have a special interest in nutrition and its effect on mental health. To put the research together in one place I authored the book, “Cooking to Cure, A nutritional approach to anxiety and depression”. “Cooking to Cure” focuses on balancing neurochemistry through nutrition and meal preparation. Nutrition, exercise, and positive social relationships have a profound effect on mental health and our ability to deal with stress.
Difficult life transitions can be an opportunity for personal growth. Dealing with change effectively can leave you feeling stronger and more confident. I can help with problem-solving and improving overall mental and physical health through healthy lifestyle changes. I look forward to helping you develop coping skills that will help you through this transition as well as others you will experience in the future.
Life can be overwhelming. Sometimes we need help finding our way. This can be by identifying and implementing options. Sometimes we just need someone to listen to us without judgment. Let’s talk.
Please note that my schedule changes from hour to hour and that may not be reflected in the posted schedule. Don’t hesitate to contact me about available times that are not shown.

Angela Dailey has provided therapy in rural Montana for 30 years. Before beginning private practice in 1995, she spent five years as Director of Services for a mental health center. Practicing in a rural setting, which she compares to the role of a country doctor, has given her broad experience treating a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship problems, self-esteem struggles, childhood abuse, domestic violence, behavior challenges, and life transitions.
She practices with a holistic, eclectic approach, tailoring therapeutic methods to fit each person rather than forcing a client to fit a single model of therapy. Angela also teaches college-level Psychology and Sociology and brings that academic knowledge together with clinical experience into the therapy room.
Angela has a special interest in the relationship between nutrition and mental health. She is the author of the book “Cooking to Cure, A nutritional approach to anxiety and depression,” which focuses on balancing neurochemistry through nutrition and meal preparation. She emphasizes that nutrition, regular exercise, and positive social relationships all have a significant impact on mental well-being and on the ability to manage stress.
Angela can assist people navigating difficult life transitions by offering problem-solving strategies and supporting healthy lifestyle changes that improve overall mental and physical health. She aims to help clients build coping skills that serve them now and in future transitions. She is a licensed clinical social worker in Montana with credentials from the state behavioral health licensing board, and she is available to listen without judgment and to work with clients to identify and implement options.
Please note that her schedule can change from hour to hour and those changes may not always be reflected in posted availability. Prospective clients are encouraged to contact her about times that do not appear on the calendar.
For many common concerns—such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or adjusting to life changes—online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person sessions. It offers a convenient way to address everyday mental health needs without sacrificing therapeutic quality.
One major benefit is flexibility. People can meet with a therapist in the format that fits their life best, whether through video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into busy schedules and to maintain continuity of care when life is unpredictable.
Licensed professionals provide online therapy, and if a client feels another therapist would be a better match, it is possible to switch providers. Overall, online therapy provides an accessible and adaptable option for addressing many routine mental health concerns while supporting ongoing personal growth.
