Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships

About

Hello and Welcome!

Marriage & Family Therapists work with individuals, couples, and families. While change happens from within, we all exist in relationship – to our family of origin, our work associates, our friends, our romantic partners, and our children. We also exist in relationship to our thoughts, feelings, desires, intentions, belief systems, and higher Self. I believe we all have the capacity to lead abundant lives and have healthy relationships. As licensed therapist, I can help you build upon your own strengths and resources, releasing beliefs that no longer serve you, and then translate those inner shifts to changes in your external relationships.

There is a saying I like which is attributed to a corporate leadership trainer, Dan Bobinski, “Nothing changes if nothing changes.” It’s more succinct and proactive than Einstein’s definition of insanity: Doing the same thing over and over but expecting different results. Are you ready to make positive changes in your life?

I am a Masters level therapist with over 20 years’ experience with diverse populations. I graduated with a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University-Los Angeles and am a Licensed Marital & Family Therapist in the State of Louisiana. I have extensive experience working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, stress management, self-esteem, domestic violence, and relationship issues.

My approach is eclectic, incorporating theories, such as cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, narrative, and mindfulness, to ensure your specific concerns are addressed in a way most effective for you. We will work collaboratively to identify areas of distress and personalize your therapeutic goals to accomplish the most meaningful results.

I look forward to working with you to discover your best Self!

About

Diane Kohm is a marriage and family therapist who works with individuals, couples, and families to address relationship dynamics and personal challenges.

She believes meaningful change begins within but unfolds in relationship – to family of origin, work associates, friends, romantic partners, children, and to one’s own thoughts, feelings, desires, intentions, belief systems, and higher Self. Diane maintains that people have the capacity to lead abundant lives and to develop healthier connections with others.

She helps clients build on their existing strengths and resources, release beliefs that no longer serve them, and translate those internal shifts into observable changes in external relationships.

Diane often invokes the saying attributed to Dan Bobinski, “Nothing changes if nothing changes,” to encourage practical movement toward new outcomes. She invites people who are ready to make positive changes to take that next step.

She holds a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University-Los Angeles and is a licensed marriage and family therapist in Missouri. With 30 years of clinical experience, Diane has worked with diverse populations and supports people dealing with depression, anxiety, stress management, self-esteem concerns, relationship issues, domestic violence, family conflicts, trauma and abuse, sleeping disorders, career difficulties, bipolar disorder, coping with life changes, and ADHD.

Her approach is eclectic and evidence-informed, drawing on cognitive behavioral techniques, solution-focused methods, narrative work, and mindfulness to tailor treatment to each individual’s needs. She collaborates with clients to identify areas of distress and to set personalized therapeutic goals aimed at meaningful results.

Diane looks forward to working with individuals, couples, and families to discover their best Self.

Is Online Therapy the Right Fit for Your Needs?

Many people wonder whether online therapy truly helps. For common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes – online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions for most individuals.

A key benefit is flexibility. Clients can connect in the way that feels most comfortable and convenient – via video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – which makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.

Care is provided by licensed professionals, and clients have the option to switch therapists if they prefer a different fit. For many people, online therapy offers an accessible, adaptable way to pursue goals related to emotional well-being and relationships.
