Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a licensed mental health counselor and a master credentialed substance and alcohol abuse counselor in New York. I have over 15 years of experience providing multi-systemic therapy to at risk families and adolescents; and over 15 years of experience providing cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing to adults struggling with co-occurring mental health and alcohol/substance use disorders. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, and acculturation issues. I also helped many people who have experienced physical, sexual and emotional traumas.
My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in providing counseling that is culturally sensitive where everyone is treated with respect and compassion. I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, strength focused, person-centered, and humanistic counseling. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first step towards change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support you on that wonderful journey.
I look forward to working with you!

Many people ask whether therapy delivered remotely can truly help. For common issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person care.
A major benefit is flexibility – clients can choose the format that fits their routine and comfort level, whether that means video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to maintain consistency and integrate support into a busy life.
All therapists are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change therapists if they seek a different match. For many, online therapy provides an accessible and practical way to address everyday mental health concerns and to work toward meaningful change.
