Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
My name is Elena Gregorio and I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Pennsylvania. I got my master’s degree in social work from West Chester University in 2012 and have been working with individuals and groups ever since, focusing on mental health and/or substance abuse issues. This was a second career for me; I started out with a music degree and teaching elementary schoolers. But as happens to most people, life threw some curve balls and it was time for a change.
Perhaps you’re at a curve ball stage yourself and you have come here looking for some support. I would welcome the opportunity to hear your story and see if we are a good fit to set some goals together and start working toward the type of positive changes you would like to see in your life. I am a patient, compassionate, and nonjudgmental person in all of my interactions. I believe in the importance of dignity for all, regardless of background or identity.
My style in therapy can be an eclectic one, as one approach does not necessarily fit everyone. I tend to draw from cognitive behavioral, narrative, and mindfulness-based therapies at first and then see if more experiential or varied approaches might work best for you. But we can discuss all of that in more detail, as well as any other questions you may have, as we get to know each other. Therapy does not have to be a scary, intimidating thing to get into! I look forward to hearing more from you.

She earned a master’s degree in social work from West Chester University in 2012 and has 9 years of experience delivering therapeutic services. Her license reflects advanced clinical training and state approval (PA LCSW, CW020302).
Therapy was a second career for Elena. She began with a music degree and spent time teaching elementary school before life prompted a change in direction and she pursued social work.
She works with a broad range of concerns, including stress, anxiety, addictions, self-esteem, coping with life changes, compassion fatigue, LGBT-related issues, relationship challenges, family conflicts, trauma and abuse, grief, intimacy-related concerns, eating disorders, anger management, career difficulties, bipolar disorder, and depression.
Elena approaches therapy in a patient, compassionate, and nonjudgmental manner and emphasizes dignity for all people regardless of background or identity. She welcomes the opportunity to listen to someone’s story, determine whether they are a good fit, set collaborative goals, and begin working toward the positive changes they want to make.
Her therapeutic style is eclectic; she often draws from cognitive behavioral, narrative, and mindfulness-based therapies initially and may introduce more experiential or varied approaches when those better suit a client’s needs. She encourages questions and aims to make therapy feel accessible rather than intimidating.
