Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello, I am Angelo Maurice Covington (Maurice), a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in North Carolina. I studied at Appalachian State University (North Carolina) and at the University of Iowa. Living in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Iowa has provided me a chance to live around a variety of individuals in different cultural environments around the country. Therefore, my therapeutic approach is varied and open to people from all walks of life. My main focus is helping you find ways to be your main support.
I normally provide a mix of Person-centered therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I feel that it is best to allow you the opportunity to tell your story in an open environment with guidance on developing coping strategies or setting goals that will be effective and useful for your personal growth.
When I am not providing assistance and therapy to the individuals I serve, I enjoy reading books (suspense, crime, biographies), riding bikes, and spending time with my family.
If you are ready to tell your story, find errors in your thinking, and set on your path of healing, I am the person for you. I am excited to have the opportunity to assist you along this journey.
