Amy Brant

Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships

About

As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I believe that each family unit is unique. When positive growth or change is made by one member of the family, each member benefits.
I started my career in 1998 as a teacher for students with special needs and as a public school guidance counselor. In 2011, I decided to earn my LMFT degree as it was becoming more clear that our families and past experiences strongly shape decisions we make and behaviors we choose as adults.

My therapeutic approach varies as to what you need. Some people benefit from Solution-Focused, brief-type therapy, while others may need a more collaborative, educational approach. I offer EMDR for trauma/PTSD and Prepare-Enrich curriculum for couples’ needs. I will be a supportive, empathetic listener and will take time to craft my services around your individual needs, whether that is working through events in your past or planning a healthy future. My goal is to empower you to become the best YOU!

Is Online Therapy the Right Fit for Your Needs?

Many people wonder whether remote sessions can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been found to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person care.

One major benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that suits them best, whether by video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This range of options makes it easier to integrate therapy into a busy schedule.

Therapists who provide online services are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change therapists if they feel a different fit would be better. Online therapy can be a practical and accessible choice for many people seeking support.
