Take a deep breath. You’ve come to the right place, you’re not alone and I’m going to help you. Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, angry and/or depressed? Life can be challenging and often we find ourselves overwhelmed by what has come our way. Have you ever heard the quote “we cannot control the wind but we can adjust our sails”, written by various authors. A therapeutic relationship is based on trust, communication and collaboration. You are unique and there’s no “one size fits all” approach to therapy. I am compassionate, dedicated and honest. I will start where you are comfortable and give you skills to cope and problem solve through supportive solution-focused, motivational and mindful modalities.
I am a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been working with individuals and families for over 20 years. Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One of the main benefits is flexibility – you can connect in the way that feels most comfortable, choosing from video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility often makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
Licensed professionals provide care through these remote options, and if a different fit is desired, it is possible to switch therapists. For many people, online therapy offers a practical and effective way to address everyday mental health concerns while accommodating their schedules and preferences.
