Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello! Thank you for taking the time to view my profile! My name is Chelsea and I am an LCPC in the state of Maryland, a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) from the National Board of Certified Counselors, and an Approved Supervisor with the state of Maryland Board of Professional Counselors. I obtained my Masters from The Johns Hopkins University School of Education and have been practicing in community work with children, teens, families, and adults with severe and persistent mental illness for the past 9 years. I have experience in working with a wide range of clinical concerns such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar and other mood disorders, trauma, self-esteem, adjustment disorders and life transitions, behavioral and emotional disturbances, relationship issues, and family conflict.
I practice from a person-centered approach and draw from Cognitive-Behavioral, Solution-Focused, and Motivational Interviewing interventions. I believe that the therapeutic alliance is one the most significant predictors of successful outcomes in therapy. I foster this through empathy, validation, and unconditional positive regard for each of my clients. I am passionate about challenging the stigma related to mental health and educating the public in order to reduce the labels associated with it. “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”. I am here to embark on and support you on this journey, every step of the way. I recognize that it is not easy to take this first step and I want to commend you on that.

Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly make a difference. For a variety of common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and navigating life changes – online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility. People can connect with a therapist in the format that best fits their needs and schedule, whether through video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This variety makes it easier to integrate care into a busy life.
All participating clinicians are licensed professionals, and clients may change therapists if they feel a different fit would be better. Online therapy offers an accessible option for many common mental health concerns while preserving the core elements that support progress in treatment.
