Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello! My name is Sharon Clark and I have 20+ years as a therapist. Therapy is a second career for me, so I have the benefit of offering some helpful information about navigating the “real world,” and hopefully, you’ll learn my experience is not straight out of the textbooks! Over the past years, I have worked with a very diverse population that struggle with unique perspectives on therapy and how it works. I have also worked as a substance abuse counselor if that is area you want to get help with. I can interact with you in whatever manner you choose, but video conferencing is my personal preference as it gives you the opportunity to get to know me and vice versa. I can be flexible to help accommodate your work schedule, school, doctor’s appointments etc.

Sharon Clark brings 22 years of clinical experience to her work, having entered therapy as a second career and carrying practical real-world insight into sessions. Her background includes working with a wide range of people who bring diverse perspectives on therapy and its role in daily life, and she has experience as a substance abuse counselor for those seeking support in that area.
Sharon practices as a licensed clinical social worker in Kentucky, and she combines professional training with life experience to offer approachable, practical guidance. She is comfortable interacting through multiple communication methods but prefers video conferencing because it helps establish a stronger connection between therapist and client.
Sharon strives to be flexible to accommodate clients juggling work, school, medical appointments, and other commitments, and she adapts scheduling to fit individual needs.
Many people wonder whether meeting with a therapist online can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions for most people.
One major benefit is flexibility – individuals can choose the mode of communication that suits them best, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This adaptability often makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule.
Therapists providing online care are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change therapists at any time if they would prefer a different fit.
