Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
It takes a great deal of courage to reach out for help when struggling emotionally, physically, and or behaviorally. Let me introduce myself. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), who has been working as a therapist, with a variety of clients, for the last 15 years. It is important to me that everyone be treated with respect and dignity no matter what they are dealing with in their life. I achieved a Masters Degree in Social Work at West Virginia University and have completed 70 hours towards Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Certification.
As a therapist it is my goal to provide compassion, understanding, and support without discrimination, stigmatization, and or judgement. I have worked effectively with clients who are dealing with Addiction, ADHD, Anxiety, Anger, Bipolar, Career Challenges, Depression, Domestic Violence, Medical Issues/Diagnoses, Parenting Problems, PTSD, Stress, Trauma, and Weight Loss. Your struggle is real no matter how difficult or what others may think is not important.
My therapy style is interactive and client centered. My therapeutic approach consists of Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral (DBT), Impact, Gestalt, and Solution Focused along with therapeutic techniques and activities, based on individual needs, to help you to achieve your goals. I am straightforward but also empathetic to the needs of my clients.
If you are ready and able to commit to taking the first step, we can work together to help you to achieve a happier and more fulfilling life through a commitment towards change. I am here to support and empower you throughout the process. I’m excited and looking forward to be working with you!
