Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
My approach to therapy offers guidance in your journey of rediscovering your unconditional love for yourself and your world. I help you have compassion for challenging feelings by acknowledging how these feelings are separate from our inner spirit and therefore don’t define our self worth. It becomes easier to accept these feelings by also acknowledging that they have a purpose of self protection and therefore come from a place of love. Acceptance of feelings allows us to return to nurturing our bodies through somatic practices and reach a state of joy in the present moment for our blessings. I hope I can reignite the light that is already in you so it can shine brighter for yourself and for your world.
My undergraduate degree/masters degree are from Boston College. I have had clients as young as two and as old as 87! I’ve worked with all ages in outpatient. My focus was children/families in partial hospitalization and in-home. I’ve primarily supported those finding challenge with anxiety, sadness and anger. I am passionate how physical health intertwines with mental health. Therefore I nourish my body with plants and move every day! I have found joy as a boxing instructor and runner. I hope to expose myself to more cultures through travel. I studied abroad in Ecuador and participated in service trips to El Salvador, Mississippi, New Orleans, and the Appalachian region. I live a spiritual life with the belief that we and all “things” are connected by a shared energy of love. Some of my blessings include my parents, sister, brother-in-law, and four-year-old nephew. “You’ll never find a rainbow if you’re looking down.”

Eileen Madden guides clients through a process of rediscovering unconditional love for themselves and for the world around them. She supports people in developing compassion for difficult emotions by helping them see those feelings as separate from their inner spirit and not as measures of self-worth.
She frames challenging emotions as protective responses that arise from a place of care, which can make them easier to accept. That acceptance creates space for somatic practices that tend the body and help individuals experience moments of joy in the present.
Eileen seeks to reignite the light already within each person so it can shine more brightly for themselves and for others.
She earned both her undergraduate and master’s degrees from Boston College and brings 13 years of clinical experience to her practice in New Jersey. She is licensed to practice as a professional counselor in New Jersey (NJ LPC 37PC00792800).
Her clinical work has included outpatient settings with clients ranging from two to 87 years old. Much of her focus has been on children and families in partial hospitalization and in-home care, and she has primarily supported people facing anxiety, sadness, and anger.
Eileen emphasizes the link between physical and mental health. She nourishes her body with plants, moves every day, and finds joy teaching boxing and running. She hopes to expose herself to more cultures through travel, having studied abroad in Ecuador and participated in service trips to El Salvador, Mississippi, New Orleans, and the Appalachian region.
She lives a spiritual life grounded in the belief that all things are connected by a shared energy of love. Among her personal blessings are her parents, sister, brother-in-law, and her four-year-old nephew. She often reflects on the line, “You’ll never find a rainbow if you’re looking down.”
Many people ask whether remote therapy can truly help. For common concerns like stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life changes, therapy delivered online has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person care for most situations.
One of the strongest advantages is flexibility – clients can connect in the format that feels most comfortable, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. That range of options makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
All therapists are licensed professionals, and clients may choose to switch providers if they prefer a different fit.
