Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi, I’m Marilyn
Thanks for checking out my profile.
I’m a Licensed Independent Social Worker with 12 years of experience licensed in Ohio. I have worked with a variety of agencies specializing in trauma, grief and working with people who have addictions. I have helped clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, grieving, social interactions, personality disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
My counseling style is gentle and interactive. I believe in working together to find strategies and solutions that work for you and your specific situation. I have experience with various types of therapy including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Psychotherapy. What I find that tends to work best is active listening and engaging. Sometimes finding what is at the core of our problems happens when we least expect it. The therapy techniques merely help us make sense of what we are thinking and feeling. Change may occur as a result of consistent journaling, mindfulness, music or a combination of these or other interventions. Each person is different and unique.
I would love to meet with you and accompany you on your journey to set and accomplish your personal goals.

For many common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life changes – online therapy has been found to provide outcomes comparable to traditional in-person sessions. It can be an effective way to access support for everyday mental health challenges.
One major benefit is flexibility. People can connect with a therapist in the format that suits them best – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or messaging within an app. This range of options makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule or to choose the mode of communication that feels most comfortable.
All participating therapists are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change therapists if they want a different fit. For many individuals, online therapy offers a practical, adaptable route to working on their goals with a qualified therapist.
