Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello, my name is Dr. Tess DeProw. I have a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri. I have helped many people struggling with depression, drug addiction, relationship breakups, childhood trauma, parenting issues and anxiety. I will work with you to help you identify what your personal strengths are and together we will develop a plan to improve the quality of your life. I used several different therapeutic approaches: cognitive-behavioral therapy, strength-based therapy, motivational interviewing and narrative therapy.
All of the tools I use are designed to empower you and help you see that you do have choices as to how we handle the situations that we are faced with. Sometimes the fear of change is scarier than the change itself.
My personal counseling style is warm, empathetic, encouraging and empowering.

Many people wonder whether online therapy can make a meaningful difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
A primary benefit is flexibility – clients can connect with a therapist in the format that suits them best, whether through video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. That flexibility often makes it easier to keep therapy consistent within a busy schedule.
Therapists who provide online care are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to switch therapists if they want a different fit. For many people, online therapy offers an accessible way to access professional support and to work on common mental health and life concerns.
