Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Your mental health is important and I can be available, for a session within 24 hours of your contact, outside of the hours between 9 pm and 7 am.
I am a licensed mental health counselor in the State of Michigan, with over twenty five years of experience, working with individuals from all walks of life. I have worked in hospitals, community mental health offices, substance abuse treatment centers, and in the homes of hospice patients. I have assisted individuals with depression, anxiety, and abuse issues. I hold a special certification in substance abuse. It is a CAADC – Michigan Certification for Advanced Addiction Counselor .
Many adult survivors of childhood abuse look for ways to numb themselves in toxic ways. I can help you heal from this trauma that may still impact you as an adult. It is understandable to respond with anxiety, anger or a general feeling of depression. You don’t have to settle for this.
My communication style is kind and warm. I don’t stigmatize and make assumptions. I treat others in a respectful manner, just the way, I would like to be treated. My style is to connect with you and look for patterns of behaviors that don’t work and need to change. We work together to figure out, what would work best for you, so you can have the life you want. I will offer you support for appropriate change.
I appreciate you reaching out for help. Everyone needs help at some point in their lives. It isn’t easy to make change but we can do it together.
At this time, due to licensing requirements, I am limiting myself to clients from the State of Michigan.
Thanks, Susan Gill, MSW, LCSW, CAADC.

Many people ask whether meeting with a therapist online can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or adapting to life transitions, online therapy is often as effective as in-person care.
A major benefit is flexibility – clients can choose the format that fits their life best, including video visits, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. That flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into busy schedules and to maintain continuity of care.
All therapists involved are licensed professionals, and clients may switch to a different therapist at any time if they feel a different fit would be better. Online therapy makes mental health support more accessible while offering a range of ways to connect.
