Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
“Our wounds are often the openings into the best and most beautiful part of us.” ~David Richo
Good day! My name is Dr. Lucetry B. Dalton and I am fully licensed clinical psychologist in the great mitten state of Michigan, where I was born & raised. I offer virtual telehealth psychotherapy services utilizing an evidence-based integrative therapeutic approach based on the individualized clinical need of the patient. My sessions tend to be very interactive, engaging, and collaborative with a touch of humor and fun as appropriate. I enjoy learning just as much from my patients as they learn from me and I offer a safe, secure, trusting, & judgement free zone to my patients where they can be their true authentic selves and say whatever is on their mind, as they will get the same in return from me. I typically suggest “therapeutic homework assignments” that are often brief & enjoyable in nature, but also challenging with the purpose of encouraging the patient to engage in some deep self-reflection, critical thinking, & cognitive reframing in addition to learning to view situations and people from various perspectives. Although patients may present with similar presenting problems, I do not treat no two people exactly the same and my therapeutic approach is tailored to each individual based on their personality, interests, & clinical need. I have over 10 years experience working in the mental health field as a clinician in various states (NC, DC, MD, PA to name a few) where I have resided throughout my education, training, & career. My experience involves year of providing mental health services to individuals across the lifespan of various cultures & backgrounds, which include but not limited to children/adolescents, adults, elderly, couples, & family as well as members of various ethnicities & minority communities.
“We are here to listen…not to work miracles…
We are here to help people discover what they are feeling, not to make the feelings go away…
We are here to help people identify their options, not to decide for them what they need to do…
We are here to discuss steps with people, not take steps for them…
We are here to help people discover their own strength, not to rescue them and still leave them vulnerable…
We are here to help people learn to choose, not to make it unnecessary for them to make difficult choices…
We are here to provide support for change…”

Many people ask whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and adjusting to life changes, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility – individuals can choose the mode of connection that works best for them, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it easier to fit therapy into busy lives.
All therapists are licensed professionals, and if someone seeks a different fit, it is possible to switch to another therapist. Online therapy offers an accessible way to pursue care that aligns with a person’s schedule and communication preferences.
