Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi! My name is Brian Timms and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Oklahoma with over 9 years experience working in the Mental Health field. I began my career working with people living with HIV/AIDS. I provided therapy for folks that were newly diagnosed as well as long term survivors. During my time with Tulsa CARES I worked with folks struggling with coming out, multiple addiction issues, lack of support system and issues relating to sex. I have been doing therapy part time as a Home Based Mental Health Therapist since 2013. I work with folks who are on Soonercare, which is the state of Oklahoma’s medicaid program. I have worked with clients with a range of concerns including depression, anxiety, parenting problems, career changes, ADHD, and other relationship issues.
I consider myself a person centered therapist who is warm and accepting of everyone. I respect others beliefs especially when different than mine. I believe everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity, no matter what they are going through. I will meet you where you are and allow you to decide how we move forward.

Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly help. For common issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person care.
One of the primary benefits is flexibility – clients can connect in the format that works best for them, whether that is a video session, a phone call, live chat, or in-app messaging. This adaptability can make it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule and maintain continuity of care.
Sessions are provided by licensed professionals, and clients may choose to switch therapists at any time if they feel a different fit would be more helpful. For many people, online therapy offers a convenient and effective path to addressing common mental health and life concerns.
