Tim Gravier is a Missouri-based Licensed Professional Counselor with 19 years of experience who works with people facing stress, anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, grief, career difficulties, and the challenges of life transitions. He combines clinical skill with a practical approach to coaching and coping so clients can move past feeling stuck.
He draws on Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to help clients manage depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and the everyday stressors that affect mental health. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master of Education in Counseling, and he has been licensed to practice in Missouri since 2004. In addition, he is certified as an Executive Coach and holds a Six Sigma Green Belt in Process Improvement.
Tim began his career in 2000 as a counselor with the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in the Office of Adult Learning and Rehabilitation Services. In 2013 he was promoted to Statewide Director of Quality Assurance, where he helped guide over 130 master-level counselors in providing services to nearly 14,000 clients a year. After retiring from the State of Missouri, he now maintains a private practice and contracts through telehealth to provide an innovative way for clients to reach their goals.
He views therapy as a collaborative professional relationship and offers a safe, non-judgmental space where each person’s knowledge of their own life is respected. To accommodate different schedules, he provides morning, afternoon, and evening virtual appointments. Tim works together with clients to help get life back on track and welcomes those who are ready to share their story and begin the process.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One of the main benefits is flexibility - individuals can connect with a therapist using the method that feels most comfortable, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to work therapy into a busy life and maintain consistency.
All participating clinicians are licensed professionals, and clients may switch therapists at any time if they need a different fit. For many people, online therapy provides an accessible, effective option for addressing everyday mental health concerns and moving forward with treatment.
