Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
About Me
I’m Ros Day, a BACP registered integrative counsellor with a calm, grounded approach and a deep understanding of life’s turning points. Before becoming a therapist, I spent over 25 years supporting people in emotionally complex situations—from working in the Diplomatic Service and women’s prisons to teaching in schools and volunteering on listening lines. I’ve personally navigated major transitions: career shifts, relocation, cultural change, and retraining later in life. My time spent with teenagers and young people grappling with internalised pressure and expectations has also provided me with knowledge and skills. that I wish I’d known earlier as a parent! These experiences shape how I work—with empathy, honesty, and an appreciation for how tough, and transformative, change can be. I am also continually improving my skills and have recently been awarded a Masters with Merit in Psychology of Mental Health and Wellbeing. Whether you’re facing anxiety, shame, grief, burnout or a shift in identity, such as taking retirement or relocation, I’ll meet you where you are and support you in moving forward at your own pace.

Rosamund “Ros” Day is a BACP registered integrative counsellor who brings a calm, grounded approach and a clear understanding of life’s turning points. She has 3 years of experience practising as a therapist and draws on more than 25 years of earlier work supporting people in emotionally complex settings – roles that include work in the Diplomatic Service, women’s prisons, teaching in schools, and volunteering on listening lines.
Her own experience includes navigating significant changes such as career shifts, relocation, cultural adjustment, and retraining later in life, and these personal transitions inform how she supports others. Time spent working with teenagers and young people under internalised pressure has also shaped her practical skills and the parenting insights she wishes she had known earlier.
Rosamund recently completed a Masters with Merit in Psychology of Mental Health and Wellbeing, and she continues to develop her skills as a practitioner. She works with common concerns such as stress, anxiety, relationship and parenting issues, career challenges, coping with life changes, and shifts in identity including retirement or relocation.
Whether someone is facing anxiety, shame, grief, burnout or a change in who they are, Rosamund meets people where they are and supports them to move forward at their own pace.
