Patricia O’Neill is an accredited counsellor in the United Kingdom who lives in Northern Ireland and has 15 years of professional work experience.
She has supported people coping with addictions, anxiety, trauma, and depression, and has worked with those experiencing low self-esteem to build confidence and pursue their potential.
Having grown up in Ireland during the ongoing conflict, she draws on that background to better understand and work with individuals living with ongoing PTSD.
She has also provided therapy through workplace Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP), helping clients navigate ongoing issues in that setting.
Patricia aims to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. She supports and empowers people taking the first courageous steps toward a more fulfilling and happier life.
For many common concerns, such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One of the key benefits is flexibility – clients can choose the format that works best for them, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it easier to fit therapy into everyday life.
Therapists who provide online care are licensed professionals, and clients are able to switch therapists at any time if they would like a different fit.
