Noha Abdel Baki holds a Diploma in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy from the Manchester Institute of Psychotherapy (MIP) (2012-2016). Her Transactional Analysis approach concentrates on supporting students at undergraduate, postgraduate and professional levels to develop self-awareness and personal growth that can improve life, relationships and productivity.
She has 9 years of professional experience, including more than six years working with adults, couples and adolescents from the age of 18 in both private practice and organisational settings. In addition, she has three years' experience as a specialist mentor supporting university students through their academic year to meet goals and overcome difficulties.
Noha has provided psychotherapy and counselling for people experiencing common mental health problems such as depression, stress, anxiety and panic attacks, as well as relationship and family difficulties, bereavement, domestic violence and sexual abuse. Her practice has served people from a wide range of socio-economic backgrounds, from socially and economically deprived circumstances to more affluent situations.
Her core skills include strong observation, effective communication and listening, the ability to build trust and show empathy, and the capacity to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds. She is also experienced in assertiveness, representing patients' interests, boundary setting and business management. She is easily approachable with straightforward communication. Clients find her non-judgmental, approachable and warm. Noha is bilingual and works in English and Arabic.
Many people ask whether online therapy can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One of the main benefits is flexibility - people can connect in the way that feels most comfortable, choosing video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life and to maintain consistency in care.
Therapy delivered remotely is provided by licensed professionals, and if someone feels a different fit would be better they can switch therapists at any time. For many people, online therapy offers an effective, adaptable option to get support for everyday mental health concerns and life transitions.
