Mark Palmer is a Person-Centred Counsellor with three years of experience supporting people as they navigate life’s ups and downs. He creates a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions and feel comfortable doing so.
He understands what it is like to struggle with anxiety, low self-esteem and feelings of being overwhelmed. He lives with ADHD himself, so he is familiar with racing thoughts, self-doubt and the pressure to ‘keep up’. That personal experience, together with his training, allows him to support others in a manner that feels real and relatable.
Mark believes that everyone can grow and heal in their own time and sees his role as walking alongside clients as they explore at a pace that suits them. Whether someone is working with anxiety, self-doubt, life transitions or simply feeling stuck, he aims to help them find clarity, confidence and greater self-acceptance.
He welcomes people seeking a therapist who understands and offers a space where they can be truly heard.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can make a real difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One of the main advantages is flexibility - clients can connect in the way that feels most comfortable, whether by video call, phone session, live chat or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy routine.
Therapists offering online services are licensed professionals, and if someone would prefer a different match they can switch to another therapist at any time.
