Malgorzata Miernik is a collaborative, non-judgmental counsellor who creates a safe space for people to express their thoughts, feelings and experiences. She focuses on offering empathy and understanding rather than telling clients what to do, guiding exploration of emotions, thoughts and behaviours to build insight and clarity as a foundation for change.
She works with issues such as stress, anxiety, addictions, trauma and abuse, low self-esteem, depression, relationship and intimacy-related concerns, and coping with life changes. Her approach draws on clients' inner resources and intuition, and she may gently challenge unhelpful patterns while offering creative exercises at times to support progress.
Malgorzata is a UK-licensed therapist with six years of professional experience. She holds a PG Diploma in Counselling Skills (Person-Centred), a postgraduate diploma accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and has completed additional training in life coaching, Recall Healing, online and telephone counselling, group facilitation, art therapy and Jungian sand-play therapy, among other areas.
Her career has included supporting survivors of sexual abuse, including work related to court cases, working with art students and facilitating groups at charities supporting refugees, asylum seekers and migrants. She has also taught on both Introduction to Counselling Skills and Certificate in Counselling Skills courses in the past.
Taking the first step towards a more fulfilling life can feel challenging, and Malgorzata offers steady support throughout that process. She welcomes the opportunity to work with people who are ready to begin or continue their journey of self-discovery and growth.
