Remote counselling tailored to clinical and career concerns

Lourens offers online sessions that draw on his background in therapeutic counselling alongside his work in career and sport psychology. In accessible terms, therapeutic counselling is presented as a collaborative process focused on exploring recent or past events that contribute to stress, anxiety, trauma or life changes. Career-focused work concentrates on decision points, vocational transitions and professional development that intersect with well-being.

Sport psychology approaches address performance, motivation and the psychological aspects of athletic involvement, and these perspectives are integrated when relevant to a person’s goals. The clinician frames each session around what the individual brings and works together to set priorities and decide the format and pace of work.

Remote appointments are available by video calls, phone sessions, live chat or text-based messaging. These options are offered so people can choose the communication style that fits their circumstances and daily routine.
