Latille Phillips brings warmth, compassion, and gratitude to each person beginning therapy. She views the therapeutic process as a path of deep self-discovery and reflection that can involve unlearning, relearning, releasing, reclaiming, and opening new doors to the next steps of life.
She focuses on uncovering invisible wounds that may be at the root of mental blocks, feelings of stuckness, or difficulty making decisions. Latille helps clients explore those underlying patterns so they can move forward with greater clarity and choice.
Her work emphasizes reconnecting with oneself and strengthening relationships, while supporting clients in rebuilding life plans, honoring both celebrations and grief, and preparing the mind for birth or for a rebirth of new approaches to wellness and living.
Latille enjoys working across family-related areas, including family transitions, premarital distress, preparing for children and parenthood, maternal mental health, pregnancy and postpartum wellness, infant and early childhood mental health, adoptive families, children, youth and teens, reunification processes, and mother-daughter relationships.
She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California (CA LMFT 136965) and also serves as a Holistic Doula, Registered Drama Therapist, and Community Mental Health Consultant. With 14 years of clinical experience and a background that includes teaching and directing services internationally, she supports people experiencing stress, anxiety, relationship concerns, trauma and abuse, motivation challenges, low self-esteem, and confidence issues.
Latille cultivates an expansive, nourishing, and safe therapy environment where clients can feel seen, heard, and celebrated, with the intention that they want to return to the space each session. She looks forward to meeting individuals who are taking the courageous first step toward a more fulfilling and happier life and is available to support that process.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or adjusting to life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person care for most situations.
One major benefit is flexibility - people can connect in the way that suits them best, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This range of options makes it easier to fit therapy into busy schedules and to receive support from familiar surroundings.
Licensed professionals provide these services, and clients have the option to switch therapists if they seek a different fit. For many, the convenience and comparable effectiveness of online therapy make it a practical and accessible choice for addressing a variety of mental health concerns.
