LaMeshia Lipscomb is a licensed professional counselor practicing in Georgia with nine years of experience supporting individuals, families, couples, and the geriatric community. She earned her degree from Richmont Graduate University, where she combined the practice of faith with the development of clinical therapy skills.
Her clinical training included work at a mental health facility and a practicum in a private practice setting within a church. That experience has given her the opportunity to work with a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, ADHD and ADD, low self-esteem, and providing support for family members of people with mental health diagnoses.
She cultivates a warm and inviting therapy environment where clients are encouraged to be vulnerable as they pursue greater peace and well-being. Her aim is to create a safe, comfortable space for clients to face challenges without feeling judged or misunderstood.
LaMeshia uses a variety of therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, emotion-focused therapy, and brief solution-focused therapy. She partners with each person to establish individualized goals and desired outcomes for the therapy process.
It is a privilege for her to accompany people as they move toward their authentic selves and greater happiness. She looks forward to collaborating with clients to accomplish their goals. She holds the Georgia Licensed Professional Counselor credential, which authorizes her to provide professional counseling in the state (GA LPC LPC008861).
