Kimberly DePue, LCSW, is a warm, grounded, and non-judgmental therapist who believes people are doing the best they can with the tools they have. When long-standing coping strategies - whether conscious or subconscious - stop working, it can feel confusing, painful, or exhausting to try something new alone. She offers steady support for those who want to understand what is getting in the way of wellbeing and begin building healthier, more effective ways of caring for themselves.

Kimberly emphasizes the importance of relationships as a cornerstone of overall wellbeing, including the relationship with oneself, with family and friends, and with the broader community. She understands that challenges such as trauma, depression, anxiety, loneliness, illness, and fear can disrupt these connections and make daily life feel heavier. Her work centers on helping clients feel supported as they navigate difficult emotional experiences and strengthen self-awareness, so they can develop insight, learn new skills, and repair their relationship with themselves - and, if desired, with others.

Trauma and relational ruptures can shape how a person views themselves and the world, influencing self-esteem, coping, and connection. Kimberly recognizes that many people manage the impact of trauma through unhealthy or addictive patterns, and she brings a compassionate, structured framework to this work. She is a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist and a Certified Clinical Supervisor. After earning her LCSW and LCAS, she pursued additional training that includes over 50 hours studying the American Society of Addiction Medicine Manual, over 200 hours in Gestalt Therapy, and 50 hours of EMDR training through EMDRHAP.
