Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am so proud of you for taking the first step in reaching out to get some help. Welcome to Betterhelp!
My name is Kathleen Borgeson and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California. I am passionate about people and helping others through difficult times. I have been a therapist for 25 years working with children, adolescents, adults and senior citizens. Most of my work has been around grief and loss issues; losing someone you loved, a job opportunity or home, a relationship or miscarriage.
Grief touches all of our lives whether it be from a loss of a parent, child, career, physical impairment or struggles with depression, anxiety and insecurities.
It is important to be able to express feelings around the losses we experience and have someone there who can provide support, tools and resources in order to get back to a stable level of functioning. You are not alone. With my caring and supportive demeanor, I am ready to help you, exactly where you are at.
By using a narrative approach, mindfulness and motivational interviewing, I work with all age ranges of individuals from teens to senior citizens. Cognitive-behavioral and Solution Focused therapy as well as being patient centered are very effective.
My passion is YOU, listening and providing support and tackling the struggles you are facing.

Many people ask whether online therapy can truly help. For a wide range of common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges and navigating life changes – research indicates that online therapy can be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One key benefit is flexibility. People can choose the communication method that feels most comfortable and convenient – video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging – which makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
Therapists offering online services are licensed professionals, and if a different fit is needed it is possible to switch providers. Online therapy offers an accessible option for many who want professional support for everyday mental health concerns.
