Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
When life feels overwhelming, having someone who truly listens can make all the difference. That’s what I offer. My knowledge, empathy, and compassion—developed through years of listening and understanding—enable me to guide you in mental, physical, and spiritual health. Work with me to recognize your inner wisdom to meet with the social, psychological, and ecological challenges of our time.
To ensure our work is effective, I ask my clients to embrace these core principles:
Non-Judgment: Every person is unique. Every journey is sacred.
Confidentiality: What you share stays private, unless you are at risk of harming yourself or others.
Honesty: Healing begins with truth. I’ll help you uncover and embrace it.
Focus: Our time together is meaningful. For your safety and success, please eliminate distractions—no phones, screens, music, pets, or hidden guests during our sessions.
Respect: Value your time, your resources, and the commitment you’ve made to yourself by keeping your appointments.
Before our first session, I’ll send you some questions that I like to think of as a “free first session.” Take the time to answer them however feels right for you. This allows us to dive straight into creating a plan for the meaningful changes you’re seeking, rather than using valuable time on basic introductions.
Ready to begin? Click “Work with Me” to schedule your first appointment. I look forward to connecting with you!

Judy Carran brings three decades of clinical experience to people navigating stress, anxiety, trauma and abuse, grief, depression, life transitions, self-esteem struggles, career difficulties, compassion fatigue, and ADHD. She combines deep listening with empathy and practical knowledge to support clients’ mental, physical, and spiritual well-being.
As a licensed clinical social worker practicing in Arizona, Judy focuses on helping clients access their own inner wisdom so they can meet the social, psychological, and ecological challenges of our time. Her approach is collaborative and grounded in respect for each person’s unique path.
To make therapy as effective as possible, Judy asks clients to adopt several core principles. She holds a non-judgmental stance and honors the uniqueness of every journey. She maintains client confidentiality, with the exception that she will take necessary steps if someone is at risk of harming themselves or others. She emphasizes honesty as the foundation of healing and supports clients in uncovering truths that matter to their growth.
Judy also asks clients to treat session time as focused work – she requests that phones, screens, music, pets, and unannounced guests be removed from the environment during appointments. She encourages respect for the therapeutic process by keeping scheduled appointments and valuing the commitment to oneself.
Before the first meeting, Judy sends a set of questions she likes to think of as a “free first session.” Answering those prompts helps use session time efficiently so the work can move quickly toward a meaningful plan for change.
When someone is ready to begin, they can click “Work with Me” to schedule the first appointment. Judy looks forward to connecting and supporting the next steps in each client’s journey.
Many people wonder whether remote therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or the challenges that come with life changes, research and practice show that online therapy is effective and can produce outcomes comparable to in-person sessions.
One major benefit is the flexibility it offers. Individuals can choose the format that fits their schedule and comfort level – video sessions, phone calls, live chat, or in-app messaging – making it easier to keep continuity of care without rearranging daily life.
Therapists who provide online services are licensed professionals, and it is possible to switch therapists if a different fit is desired. For many people, the convenience and adaptability of online work make it a practical and impactful option for addressing everyday mental health concerns.
