Jade Round is a UK-based, qualified and licensed counsellor who offers a warm, non-judgmental space for people ready to pursue healing, growth and greater self-understanding. With 5 years of counselling experience, she specialises in supporting and empowering women who feel stuck, overwhelmed or unsure how to move forward, whether that means working on relationships, rebuilding self-esteem or navigating life changes.
Working as a holistic pluralistic counsellor, Jade adapts therapeutic methods to fit each person rather than relying on a single model. She draws on approaches such as person-centred therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic work, tailoring techniques to meet individual needs and goals.
The holistic element of her practice means she considers emotional, mental, physical and spiritual wellbeing together, recognising how different parts of life are interconnected. When words are hard to find, Jade can introduce creative techniques in sessions to help access and express emotions through other ways of engaging the mind.
Her experience includes supporting adults and children with a wide range of concerns, including stress, anxiety, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, depression, coping with life changes, family and parenting challenges, trauma and abuse, grief and career-related issues.
Jade believes people are the experts in their own stories and that reaching out for support is an important act of self-care. She aims to collaborate with each person to create a space where they feel heard, understood and empowered to take steps toward meaningful change, walking alongside them throughout the therapy journey.
Many people ask whether online therapy can really help. For most common concerns - such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or navigating life changes - online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One of the main advantages is flexibility. Individuals can connect with a therapist in the format that suits them best - by video call, phone session, live chat or in-app messaging - which makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule.
Each therapist involved is a licensed professional, and clients can change therapists if they would prefer a different fit.
