Holly Erskine is a licensed clinical social worker in Wisconsin, offering a trauma-informed approach to psychotherapy that recognizes how life experiences shape present struggles. She creates a safe, respectful environment where people can be heard and supported while working toward meaningful goals.
With practice in the mental health field since 2008 and fifteen years of experience, Holly has particular expertise in addressing trauma-related symptoms including PTSD and complex trauma, emotion dysregulation, mood and personality disorders, relationship difficulties, and challenges with self-esteem, stress, anxiety, and depression. Her training includes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and DBT Prolonged Exposure for trauma, and she integrates additional therapeutic methods as needed to meet each person’s individual needs.
Holly emphasizes safety as a foundation for healing and is committed to providing empathic, compassionate care. She prioritizes the therapeutic relationship and partners with clients to set treatment goals that matter to them. In the first session she focuses on building rapport and answering any questions about therapy, then works with each person to develop a shared understanding of treatment priorities and a plan to reach those goals.
Helping people affected by trauma and other mental health concerns is central to Holly’s work. She aims to foster empowerment and healing so clients can move toward lives they find worth living, and she welcomes the opportunity to talk with new clients who are ready to begin.
