Donald "Bo" Hardy

Donald "Bo" Hardy is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is also a National Board Certified Counselor, a national credential that recognizes advanced training and professional standards in counseling. He brings over a decade of experience to his work with adults who want practical support and a thoughtful space to sort through what is getting in the way of feeling better.

For eight years, Donald worked in a nonprofit setting helping adults and students with disabilities build interpersonal and workplace skills. His work included both individual and group support, along with teaching social skills classes in local schools. That background, combined with an earlier career in education, reflects a steady focus on clear communication, skill-building, and helping people grow in ways that translate to everyday life. He also holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in instrumental music education, and he continues to enjoy playing and performing.

Since 2022, Donald has been in solo practice, working with clients in his own private practice and through BetterHelp. He has experience supporting concerns such as ADHD, stress, anxiety, depression, anger management, parenting challenges, relationship concerns, career difficulties, and coping with major life transitions. As an ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider, he has received specialized training to help adults manage the day-to-day challenges that can come with ADHD. He aims to create an open, safe environment where clients can share thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment, while also setting meaningful goals that support both mental health and overall wellness, including attention to exercise and nutrition.
