Desiree works with individuals on stress, anxiety, depression, addictions, trauma and abuse, motivation, self-esteem and confidence, relationship difficulties, grief, intimacy-related concerns, parenting, anger, career challenges, bipolar disorder, coping with life changes, and compassion fatigue.
Her practice is client-centered and she frequently uses cognitive behavioral therapy to help clients unravel the thoughts and behaviors that lead to negative responses and to develop realistic tools aimed at achieving positive outcomes.
She strives to create an open, nonjudgmental environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared and emphasizes establishing rapport and trust so clients can unpack what prevents them from being their best selves.
Desiree recognizes that taking the first step toward a more fulfilling and happier life requires courage, and she is available to support and guide clients through that process.
