Crystal Willson welcomes people who are ready to explore themselves more deeply and understands that finding the right counselor takes time. She believes everyone can benefit from therapy and that personal growth is possible at each stage of life.
Crystal is a Florida-licensed mental health counselor and a certified addiction professional; her license is FL LMHC MH13762. She has worked in the mental health and substance use community in various roles since 2006 and has 13 years of experience providing therapy services.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of South Florida in 2006 and a Master of Science from Troy University in 2008. She completed her Certified Addiction Professional credential in 2011 and obtained licensure as a mental health counselor in 2015.
Crystal has worked with people facing depression, anxiety, relationship and parenting difficulties, career challenges, substance use disorders, and those recovering from physical trauma or emotional abuse. Her counseling style is warm and interactive; she treats clients with respect, sensitivity, and compassion and avoids stigmatizing labels. She integrates motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral techniques to help create practical solutions, and she tailors conversations and treatment plans to each individual’s needs.
Taking the first step toward a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage, and Crystal is available to support and empower clients who are ready to begin that process.
Many people wonder whether remote counseling can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One of the key benefits is flexibility - clients can choose the format that fits their life best, including video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This variety makes it easier to attend sessions regularly and to integrate therapy into a busy routine.
All participating clinicians are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to switch to a different therapist if they want a better fit. For many individuals looking for convenient, evidence-informed support for everyday mental health needs, online therapy can be a practical and effective choice.
